Pioneering Advancements in Orthopaedic Surgery Education
At Miami Orthopaedic Research Foundation, we utilize research as a foundation for orthopaedic surgery education. We intend to form a network of research-based education which services our resident surgeons and extends to surgeons in Central and South America.
To establish and maintain full time research fellowship positions. These positions will be filled by doctors who are aspiring to orthopaedic surgery residency and doctors who are aspiring to a career in medical research.
To fund our resident surgeon’s attendance to orthopaedic society meetings for continuing education and presentation of research. Our residency program has a history of producing research with clinically relevant results that are generalizable across a diverse patient population.
To provide educational opportunities for Latin American surgeons. Given the history of Miami and its diverse Latin American population, it is incumbent upon us to contribute to improving patient care in Central and South America.
